Hey, guys. I just picked up the above mentioned phone yesterday during T-Mobiles "all phones free" sale. I'm hoping to sell it in order to generate funds to replace my Nexus 1, which I unfortunately poured super glue all over last week  :headwall:

The phone is the black model, and has never been out of the box. It's got Android 2.1 installed, and HTC plans to get all their android phones to 2.2 (froyo) by the end of the year. It retails for $430 without or $200 with a new or extended plan. Current prices on ebay for this model phone are over $350. Engadget says "that this phone is simply the best Android device T-Mobile has directly offered to date". If you haven't drunk the Apple poison, or are looking to get a nice Android handset without extending your contract, this is a great phone.

Here's some links:

I'm not super interested in the phone, but I AM curious how you picked it up. Did you just extend your current contract from the Nexus and pick this guy up in its place? .........................

T-Mobile was giving away any of their phones with a new contract, extension, or adding a line. Since my dad didn't have a cell phone, I added a line for him. I got the myTouch for free, and paid $50 for a cheap Nokia. The Nokia got activated, while the myTouch came home sans SIM card. I'm still using my Nexus 1. I'm hoping the price of the Nexus 1s drop after the iPhone 4 comes out & that the proceeds from selling the myTouch will cover it. If I don't get any responses here or at work by Wednesday I'm gonna put it up on Craigslist and eBay.

Cheers! .........................

Bill is a liar. This phone was totally out of the box for 15-20 seconds while I returned the unused SIM. .........................

In that case, I hope the guy that buys it off of eBay isn't expecting the unused SIM to still be in there  :whiste: .........................
