So for work I had some connection issues today so the tech made me run a bandwidth test.

He sent me here http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

I have to say it is pretty sweet they give upload and download bandwidths for a desired city (ie where you are to that selected city)

by the by my results for il to dc was 9.42 Mbps dl and 1.48 Mbps upload.  So he was convinced my connection problems weren't bandwidth related :) .........................

Fuck, that's some impressive uplink!! U-verse?

PHX ot DC: 9.135Mbps down, 1.322 Mbps up.... with QoS on my router and torrents uploading.
PH to LA: 9.843 Mbps down, 1.247 Mbps up, same scenario. Looks like the QoS stuff is working pretty well :) .........................

U verse caps you at 1.5 upload. That's what we have and I pretty much always get 1.4# on upload. # = some random number. .........................

0.63 Mbps down, 0.33 Mbps up.

This is testing out the netbook I have with T-Mobile's Milwaukee 3G right now. These are the speeds I can get (and just did) hangin' out at my local Subway. .........................
