Just curious what games other people are playing... if any. Always looking to check out new titles that I perhaps otherwise would have skipped over. Here's my short list:

Boom Blox
Pretty cool puzzle game. You are presented with a configuration of blocks that you need to knock down by throwing objects at them. Not all block react the same way though, some just move, some explode, some explode when hitting other similar blocks, some just disappear and so on. It's entertaining both as a single and mult-player games. Supposedly Boom Blox Bash Party adds online functionality or something as well, but I haven't tried it out yet.

You, Me, and the Cubes (WiiWare)
In interesting puzzle title where you toss people (called Fallos) at a floating block and try to do so in a way that they don't fall off. You have to put a certain number of them on the platform within a certain number of time. Pretty interesting and entertaining.

Muscle March (WiiWare)
Thanks ickyb0d for the recommendation. OK, so I've only played this once, but it's pretty entertaining. The premise is that you're a body builder, and someone's stolen your protein powder. You need to chase them as they try to make their escape by smashing through walls while making muscle poses. You, of course, do this by making the same poses as them as you follow them through the terrain (which all kinds of wacky shit happens around you).

This is ignoring the givens of course; for me, this includes Guitar Hero and New SMB. .........................

I don't play Wii... sorta wish I did, I've always wanted to check out Zakk and Wiki (?) as well as Muramasa (actually did play this it's kinda awesome if you want to beat people up with swords, art is especially great).

Oh well... back to MassEffect2 .........................

Ohh....Boom Blox...that game aggravates me.  I don't know what it is about that game, but it drives me nuts (partially because I can't pass any of the levels).

The game(s) I started playing recently was:

The Good:

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: its a fighting game.  But in the crazy japanese game style!  Basically I i just mash 2 buttons alot and do crazy combos.  And the damage-meter is off the chart..what I mean by this is that like a 3-hit combo does 4.5 BILLION damage.  They have fun characters to play such as Ryu (from street-fighter), Megaman (from..yes megaman), and June the Swan (???).  Either way, the game is entertaining for a while at least.

Hooked: Real Motion Fishing:This game is addictive to me as I can create a career..and fish whenever I want, unlocking additional lures in the process.  For some reason the lure of catching 'the big one' keeps me hooked on this game.

The Bad:

No More Heroes: In this game you are just running around beating guys up and cutting heads/limbs off with your electric lightsaber-ish style sword.  The concept and initial gameplay is enjoyable but the camera-angles..oh the camera angles! it was very annoying to have to mess with this all the time.

The Ugly:

Elebits This game's premise is basically to search around a given area to find/uncover all these strange animals (elebits) that live in electronics.  But getting them all is impossible!  I tried more than several times to play this game, only to have it frustrate me more and more.  You are timed, so if you don't find enough in a given time period you have to re-do this.  After 45 minutes-1 hour of playing this I had only beat one level.  F-you Elebits and your squeakiness. .........................
meh.

It was a good game. But like most Wii games, slightly childish.

Pokemons!  Is there not like a new pokemon mega battle arena toshinden or something?  Did they ever end up coming up with any games that rock out with your DS & Wii (much like i thought the 'manz do/did/would) ? .........................

Pokeman arena did that. But I'm not sure any other games talk to the DS. I have my doubts.

Looks pretty awesome from the youtube videos I found. Thanks for the recommendation. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom sounds pretty interesting too, I'll give it a go. I haven't yet tried any fishing games because I refuse to play them, but it does seem like a system that would lend itself pretty well to the genre. .........................

Yea zak and wiki was pretty good. The graphics are
kiddie but some of the puzzles are not too kid friendly.

Other games to consider. They release a Metroid triology. It has the first two game cube games redone with wii controls and then it also has the third game too.  And of course the new super Mario bros. Is a must.

MLB power pros baseball is awesome too if u like baseball games. I actually play it with a gamecube controller. .........................

on thing about Zakk and Wiki is there is NO save between levels... which gets a little annoying. but the puzzles are challenging. .........................

I've got the HB game, but I haven't played it yet. I assume the PW games are unchanged, and if that's the case, I rather play them on the DS. .........................

Just finished New Super Mario Bros. (finally got all the Star Coins), and I seem to now be back on my Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection.  Love this game. It just feels so much like real pinball and has some of my favorite tables that I used to rock at Echo Bowl back in the day.  I still have to pick up the Gottlieb Collection. My dad has it and says it's just as good.  At $20 a pop, you really can't go wrong.

Excite-Bots:  Got this game over the weekend. And i have to say its good!  I don't normally care too much for racing games but this one is kind of addictive.  There is so much random stuff going on while racing it keeps you entertained.  There are random power-ups (such as the ability to change from a vehicle to a two-legged running machine), and a giant hammer you can use to smash other cars.
Then there are the random little extras in every level too..like running into a 10-pin setup (bowling), or hitting a soccer ball into a net with your car.

All I know, is I started playing..and all of a sudden it was over an hour later and I was still playing.  A big win  for any Wii game considering most of them are complete crap. .........................
