I'm looking for used bicycles.  I am specifically looking for a folding bike and a tandem but also perhaps a commuter.

Anyone have anything they want to part with?

I don't know what your budget is but often times Nashbar as great deals on their name brand frames/complete bikes.  I've see folders and commuters on there for under $100 complete.

Otherwise I've got a Raleigh Olympian I'd part with a little later this spring.  It's an 83 (made in China) with steel tubes.  It's set up single speed/fixed right now, it doesn't look pretty but it gets around, frame and fork are straight.  Frame is probably a 52cm or 54cm (guess) and too small for me.  It's got a Weinmann wheelset with Formula hubs, this is the only part of the bike that's not recycled so I figured I'd mention it.  It's also got full fenders and eyelets for racks and all that jazz.

I've also got a Specialized Sirrus (56cm, sloping top tube) that I'd really like to part with, however it's got low miles and complete Shimano 105 components so I couldn't let it go super cheap.

I honestly don't have prices in mind typing this out, but if either one interests you post back and we can talk turkey. .........................

2600 Block of Farwell--There might just be a bike hanging out in the basement of the second apartment building. Go for it.

I forgot it in a move and I don't know how to ask for it back two years later...  :headwall: .........................

Not really interested in any single speeds/fixed gears right now.  I've got one of each already.  I need a good commuter and I think 56 cm is too much bike for me.

What kind of bike is in that basement?  I am always up for adventure.

Dang.  Good luck with your search!

What size frame are you looking for?  I'll keep my eyes peeled. .........................

52-54cm would be grand.  I've got my eyes on craigslist all the time.  The Madison bike auction is coming up as well.

Well, if I told you all that I know, I would probably be bidding against you.  Let's just say that all of the mountain bikes are highly coveted and the other bikes barely get noticed by the general population.
